Soft Textures, Muted Colors and the Perfect Chandelier

LIVING A BEAUTIFUL LIFE

In her best selling book "Living a Beautiful Life,"
Alexandra Stoddard wrote about the fact that most of us
spend the largest portion of our lives at home; and how we
need to pay special attention to the details of the lives we
live there.

This picture made me think of her admonition.  The attention
to detail is incredible.

I LOVE
 The crispness of the sheets...
The faux fur throw at the foot of the bed...
The beautiful tapestry on top of the fur throw...
The soft blue drapery...
and
The perfect chandelier.

Do you have any details that you believe are
important in a perfect bedroom?

  1. First and foremost the perfect pillows! Pillows for sleeping that is since a few years ago I bought some really bad expensive pillows that we had to trash since they were hugely uncomfortable!
    That's a gorgeous bedrooom.

  2. Debra, I'm curious what you like your pillows filled with. Do you like feathers or a feather like product?

  3. I also love crisp white sheets and a lovely quilt or throw at the foot of the bed. I prefer white to any color for sheets. I purchased some great pillows that aren't feather and are so comfortable that I love them! I haven't had very good luck with feather pillows. I noticed that the feathers poke through the pillows, they are hot and have to be sanitized because they get a smell to them.

I love you picture. Sigh...it is dreamy.
