The French Laundry--Another Ten Best French Restaurants Outside France

Okay, so my dilema was how to turn this post into
something that relates to lighting.  I couldn't find any
great pictures of their dining room, so I decided to talk
about task lighting.  You can just imagine the importance
of great task lighting when you are working in a kitchen
with this kind of reputation.

The French Laundry is a French restaurant located in
Yountville, California, in the Napa Valley.  The chef
and owner of the French Laundry is Thomas Keller.

The French Laundry is a perennial awardee in the annual
(having been named "Best Restaurant in the World" in 2003 and
2004), and since 2006, it has been awarded three stars in
the Michelin Guide to San Francisco. It has also been favorably
reviewed by The New York Times[1] and called "the best
restaurant in the world, period" by Anthony Bourdain.
