Grateful for Beautiful Bathrooms

DO YOU EVER CATCH YOURSELF
FORGETTING TO BE GRATEFUL??

I know I do...

As I was about to post all of these
BEAUTIFUL bathrooms...I was thinking about
how far we've come.

Recently, I had the opportunity to visit
Bodie ghost town near Mammoth, California.
It was an old mining town that was occupied
until around 1940.  There were many outhouses.

Man, am I grateful that we have the wonderful
indoor plumbing that we enjoy today.

Do you have a favorite?

  1. Hey this post hit me on so many levels!!! First, I was just thinking that I need to be more thankful. Secondly, I have been to Bodie--fun trip, and I am supposed to drive to Mammoth in a little while--waiting for the rain to stop. And thirdly, I copied elements of that bath with the checkerboard floor. Loved this, Cindy!

  4. Man oh man...I have used the "old style" bathroom and husband when visiting his grandparents when he was a child also used them as they did not have indoor plumbing. Times have changed! Beautiful baths! I especially love (and I am not including the "old style" bathroom photos you show") image (2) and image (3). I love that slip covered chair and the beautiful blue tile.
