Super Bowl Sunday

So, the Baltimore Ravens won the game.

This is their pennant.  What do you think?  Do you like the design?

I'm realizing that pennants are very in vogue these days.  Maybe they always have been and I'm just now noticing.  Maybe it's the vintage ones that are becoming so popular.

One of my favorite stores here in O.C. is Juxtaposition.  They have wonderful vintage things.  I guess it's shabby chic with an industrial vibe.

Love everything in their store, but my absolute favorite things are their vintage pennant pillows.

LOVE the framed vintage flags too.

  Many of the textiles they carry come from Africa.

This bench is a take on the very popular ottoman.  A combination of fabrics lets the blue textile (I think this is from Africa) be the star of the show.

 If you are not familiar with Justaposition, they are located in the Crystal Cove shopping center on PCH between Newport Beach and Laguna Beach.  I highly recommend a trip to this beautiful store.

One more tip.  If you do find yourself in the neighborhood, you must try the Sweet and Saucy Shop.  They have the MOST AMAZING MACARONES.
