Kitchen with a View

The weather on the Central Coast has been amazing.  

It had been years since I visited Jalama beach,

so my Saturday outing was a trip to Jalama for their 

famous hamburger. 

It did not disappoint.

Radiant Orchid

Like many other bloggers...

I have not decided how "Radiant Orchid"

will fit into 2014 interiors.  

Most likely we will see it in accessory pieces...

 A few years ago I helped my client with her daughter's bedroom.  

They had already purchased the duvet.

To their frustration it was a wee bit too small.  

To make the size more appropriate we added the 4" flange in what 

appears to be a very close match to Pantone's Radiant Orchid.

Actually when I compare the wall color...it looks pretty close.  What do you think?

Going through my pictures I came across some of 

the dog beds my sister and I were making for awhile.  

Sadly, the venture never took off but, we still have 

some pretty cute pics.
