What a great use for vintage Louis Vuitton suite cases!

This bedroom feels sort of masculine.  Do you think

your guy would like this room?

You could use the trunk in front of a sofa as your coffee table.

There is a Louis Vuitton exhibit in Beijing--wish I could

go.  It ends on August 30th.

Shell and Sea Glass Chandeliers

I love these chandeliers.  With designers using chandeliers in just about every room

 in the house, it is nice to have a great selection to choose from.

Traditional and Contemporary Chandeliers

These spaces are rather eclectic, but are great examples of how

a traditional chandelier or a more contemporary chandelier works

equally well.  Do you have a favorite?

Colored Chandeliers

Loving All This Color

Color seems to touch us at a soul level.  Depending on the

lamp you choose (light bulb) your colors will look different.

I had a client who chose beautiful taupe tile for her kitchen

backsplash.  Her electrician brought her the wrong lighting

for under her counter.  Her taupe would have ended up looking

very rosy.

You can use different types of lighting as long as their color

temperatures are similar.

I love, love these pictures.  Blues and emeralds just tug at my heart.

My son loves to make fun of me when I drive by the beach near our

home and start to ooohhhh and aaahhhh at the color of the water.

Love the drapery panels on the bed in the first picture.  There is

something so romantic about panels rustling in the breeze.

Look at that beautiful ceiling!  It's always a great idea to put a fan

in a bedroom.  Fans save energy by cooling in the summer.  And...

did you know, they can be reversed and used to warm a space in the

winter.

Crystal Ball Chandelier

The amazing thing about crystal is how it works in all sorts of settings.

It works well in a Traditional setting or a Contemporary setting.
